One of my girlfriends talked about Greek food the other day and all of the sudden my cravings kicked in. So my boyfriend suggested that we to go try out “Olympia Pizza” which we have passed by a couple of times along West Broadway.
For a Friday evening, it was not as busy as I would have expected, but there was still a fair amount of people. We shared two items: The Small Meat Lovers Pizza and Arni Psito.
Small Meat Lovers Pizza ($14.25)
The pizza was topped with pepperoni, ham, beef, genoa Salami, and italian sausage. It was delicious as the crust was really crunchy and there was a good amount of meat on it. Also, it was really cheesy which I enjoyed.
Arni Psito ($18.75)
This dish consisted of tender cuts of slowed roasted spring lamb which was topped with gravy. It was served with rice pilaf, lemon roasted potatoes, Greek salad, and garlic toast. The lamb was fairly tender, juicy, and also easy to cut through.
As for the service, the server was very attentive, but it took quite awhile for the food to be served. All in all, we had a decent experience at Olympia Pizza.
