Instead of always ordering the benedicts from Romer’s weekend brunch menu, I opted to try something new from their regular menu and went with the Street Tacos! They have four to choose from but the one that appealed to me the most was the “Wild Pacific Fish Tacos” ($14.95). This came with chipotle slaw and roasted tomato salsa. Fresh-cut fries were served on the side as well. There were two fully topped tacos given which were definitely messy to eat! The grilled fish was tender, but needed a little bit more seasoning. Otherwise, I thought this was one of the better tacos I have tried. It was such a nice twist to see chipotle slaw in tacos! The combination of chipotle slaw and fish complements each other so well! The tacos did not come in a typical tortilla shell, but rather a slightly thicker and flakier shell like those Chinese onion pancakes which I absolutely love eating! Their fries could have been more crispy, but I still ate them being the fries lover that I am. Next time you are at Romer’s for lunch or dinner, you should definitely give their tacos a try as well!
