Hello, my name is Julie. I currently reside in one of the most expensive cities in Canada, Vancouver, B.C. What exactly led me to start writing food blogs? Well, it has always been an interest of mine in discovering and trying out new ethnic foods and restaurants not necessarily where I live, but across the world as well. I have a strong passion and desire in wanting to spread awareness on restaurants that deserve more recognition under the public eye. My goal is to utilize my food blogs as a way to share my personal food experiences with others and allow others to join me on my food adventures. I strongly believe that eating out once in awhile and within moderation will certainly NOT kill you, but rather bring enjoyment into your life. On a side note, I am NOT wealthy, so I do not always binge on expensive food. My dream goal is for someone to pay me to EAT delicious food. Hope you guys enjoy reading my blog! =) For any inquiries, please e-mail me at

Pearl House Restaurant (Sperling Avenue , Burnaby)

I blogged about this place before, but I just had to mention it again. If something tastes so amazing, I should probably re-share it, right?

Kimu Japanese Cuisine (Boundary Road , Vancouver)

I love spotting new Japanese restaurants in the Vancouver Lower Mainland. My colleagues mentioned that a new, authentic Japanese restaurant opened up on the corner of Boundary and East 29th Avenue called Kimu Japanese Cuisine. (more…)

Chambar Restaurant (Beatty Street, Vancouver)

If you ever decide not to stand in the ridiculously long line up for Jam Cafe, you head down the block to Chambar Restaurant instead which is 2 doors down. They offer great brunch services on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 am – 3:00 pm.

Oka-san Kitchen Cafe

I’ve been to Oka-san Kitchen Cafe twice so far. Location wise, it is on Fraser Street between 19th and 20th Avenue. It’s quite an obscure area where you can pass by it easily when driving without noticing it. (more…)

Please note that this was a sponsored meal, but all opinions are my own. I would like to thank ChineseBites and JY Noodle (No. 1 Beef Noodle House )for having me! I haven’t been here since I was a teenager so the restaurant has been redecorated. (more…)
